Manganese Sulfate Plant
Manganese Sulfate Plant
High-purity manganese sulfate is an essential cathode input for the lithium-ion batteries powering electric vehicles and energy storage. As global demand accelerates, NAMC is planning a USD 150 million plant to produce battery-grade manganese sulfate and position Jordan within the electric-vehicle battery supply chain.
The project targets the high-growth EV market and is designed to meet the quality standards required by international battery manufacturers, including eligibility under incentive frameworks such as the United States Inflation Reduction Act. Discussions with leading international producers are advancing.
The plant reinforces NAMC’s mission to secure a reliable supply of processed critical minerals for energy storage, strengthening the region’s role in the global transition to electric mobility.
