Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) Plant
Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) Plant
LFP is one of the fastest-growing segments of the battery industry and a cornerstone of the energy-storage value chain, central to the transition to a low-carbon economy. Global demand for lithium-ion batteries is forecast to exceed 2,725 GWh by 2030, representing a market valued at more than USD 240 billion.
NAMC is planning a USD 200 million LFP cathode-material plant with 15,000 tonnes of annual capacity to serve this expanding market. The facility will produce LFP material for energy-storage and mobility applications, with discussions underway to secure state-of-the-art process technology.
The plant anchors NAMC’s role across the battery value chain, complementing the company’s wider energy-storage and critical-minerals portfolio and reinforcing Jordan’s contribution to the global clean-energy economy.
