Basalt Reinforcement Bars

Basalt Rebar Project with a USD 60 Million Investment

Basalt Fiber Reinforced Polymer (BFRP) rebar provides an advanced construction solution that is corrosion-resistant and represents a promising technology for the future of the construction industry.

The Basalt Rebar Project, with a production capacity of 5,000 tons and an investment of USD 60 million, aims to introduce Basalt Fiber Reinforced Polymer (BFRP) rebar. These fibers are derived from basalt rock formed by volcanic activity and are known for their high resistance to rust and corrosion, offering an advanced solution for the future of the construction sector. The material is safe, environmentally friendly, and available in various lengths and diameters to meet the needs of different projects, in addition to its applications in insulation. NAMC is currently in advanced discussions with leading regional manufacturers to establish a plant in Jordan.
