

Foundational Meeting Held to Establish the Iraqi–Jordanian Joint Business Council

The National Arab Mining Company and Downstream Industries (NAMC) has signed a geophysical exploration agreement with the Australian global company Fleet Space, in the presence of the company’s representative, Mr Steve Ledger, at NAMC’s headquarters in the capital, Amman. This agreement reflects NAMC’s commitment to adopting advanced global technologies to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of mineral exploration activities across the Kingdom.
Following the signing ceremony, a meeting was held with His Excellency Dr Saleh Al-Kharabsheh, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, during which opportunities for trilateral cooperation between NAMC, Fleet Space, and the Ministry were discussed. The meeting focused on expanding geophysical exploration activities throughout the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, supporting the growth of the national mining sector and maximising the utilisation of the Kingdom’s natural resources.
Fleet Space is recognised as a global leader in advanced geophysical exploration technologies and is currently operating in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in collaboration with the mining giant Ma’aden, under an agreement to conduct geophysical surveys covering an area of approximately 50,000 square kilometres, highlighting the company’s extensive expertise and strong international track record.
