Copper Exploration, Ghor/Feifa Block
Copper Exploration, Ghor/Feifa Block
Copper sits at the heart of the global energy transition, and the Ghor/Feifa block is where NAMC is proving Jordan’s potential to supply it. The 28.1 square kilometre concession in southern Jordan hosts a sediment-hosted, stratabound copper system within the Burj Dolomite Shale Formation, a style of deposit that hosts some of the world’s most significant copper resources.
Phase I exploration is complete, establishing the geological foundation through borehole drilling, trenching, and geochemical sampling. Phase II is now underway, advancing an approved 2026 work plan that combines reverse-circulation drilling, advanced multiphysics geophysical surveys, and AI-assisted target generation to define drill-ready prospects at depth. Each stage builds toward a preliminary feasibility assessment and an internationally aligned resource estimate.
As the cornerstone of NAMC’s upstream strategy, Ghor/Feifa anchors our ambition to convert Jordan’s untapped mineral wealth into a reliable, domestic source of critical minerals for the region and beyond.
