Lithium Refinery
Lithium Refinery Project with a Processing Capacity of 25,000 Tons
Lithium is a white-silver alkali metal distinguished by its light weight and high electrochemical potential as an electrode, making it a fundamental element in the manufacturing of battery cathodes, particularly amid the global acceleration toward electric vehicle adoption.
Lithium is a white-silver alkali metal, known for its light weight and high potential as an electrode, making it a key component in battery cathode manufacturing. With the global shift toward electric vehicles, the demand for battery-grade lithium chemicals is rising sharply. Europe is expected to require up to 18 times more lithium by 2030, driven by the expansion of both large-scale and mid-range battery capacities. However, the continent faces a shortage of refined lithium supplies, creating an urgent need for local refining and conversion capacities. In this context, NAMC is engaging with a leading lithium refinery developer in France to support this strategic initiative.
